What will my first visit entail, and how long will it last?

Your first visit will include a consultation, an examination, and treatment. Treatment will include a structural release and possibly other manual or energy therapies. First visits usually last 90 minutes.

  • For your first visit, I ask that you wear or bring a fitted tank top that is not black. This will allow for the most accurate posture photos to show you my examination findings.

After my first visit, what will my subsequent visits entail, and how long will they last?

Subsequent visits include a structural release and other manual or energy therapies. These visits will be 30 minutes. If your body could benefit from a 60-minute session for more deep, restorative purposes, I will let you know.

Does health insurance cover my treatment?

When verifying your benefits and eligibility with your insurance provider, please make note that I am an out-of-network provider for all insurances. Why is this? While my unique approach and technique brings my patients effective and efficient results, it is not the traditional manual adjustment chiropractic, and unfortunately, insurance companies do not offer flexibility or customization for this. A number of my patients do have pretty solid out-of-network coverage, so I provide them with the coded receipts required to successfully file their visits with their insurance for reimbursement or to be applied to a deductible. Some patients use their Health Savings Account as an option to cover their care as well.

I encourage you to look into your benefits ahead of your initial visit by calling your insurance provider or visiting your online portal. I am always happy to look into them for you, but it will take a few business days to get back to you.

Do you have a cancel or reschedule policy?

  • I send appointment reminder texts to you 48 hours in advance to allow time for any necessary changes on your end.

  • If canceling or rescheduling, please give 24-hours notice. You can reply directly to the appointment reminder text, leave a voicemail or send me an email, if I am not available by phone.

  • If you do not show up to your visit and do not give 24-hours notice, there will a $50 charge for the held time.

How should I dress for my visits?

Since you will be clothed during your treatment sessions, it is best to dress in loose, soft comfortable clothing (gym pants, shorts, etc.) Some patients will bring a change of clothing with them.

For your first visit, I ask that you wear or bring a fitted tank top that is not black. This will allow for the most accurate posture examination.

Do you have online scheduling?

Not at this time. I am working to implement online scheduling by spring 2025.

  • For new patients, the best way to schedule at this time is to call the office to reach me. Email or voicemail are a great option to request an appointment as well. Please let me know your preferred dates and times so we can begin to coordinate.

  • For current patients, the best way to schedule would be to respond to your most recent appointment reminder text or call me at the office.

What types of payment do you accept?

I accept checks, cash, or credit card (all types).

Do you have weekend hours?

I currently work one Sunday a month to accommodate my patients who travel far distances or simply need a weekend option. To discuss this opportunity, please email or call me.

Any specific directions to find your office?

I am located less than a minute off of Pellissippi Parkway’s Kingston Pike exit. You can also turn on our road directly from Parkside Drive, across from the Honda dealership. I am on the top floor of our building, directly outside of the elevator door.
